Shopping for a new home may be a bit daunting with all the things you have to consider.  Here are a few tips to get you started:
                                    1. Know what you like:
Put your wish list on paper to help narrow your search right from the start.
                                    2. Be flexible:
Prioritize your wish list in advance so you’ll know when to be firm and when to bend.
                                    3. Calculate spending power:
You’ll want to know two things: how much cash you have and how large a mortgage you can handle.
                                    4. Start Online:
Save time and gas by doing your homework before you hit the road.
                                    5. Learn the lingo:
When you can talk the talk, you’ll feel more comfortable and confident about the home-buying process.
                                    6. Visualize your future:
As you walk through a home, picture your family living in those four walls. Does it have the right space and flow for the way you want to live?
                                    7. Drive the community:
Take time to explore the area and its amenities. Be sure to check out your commute to the office, too.
                                    8. Take your checkbook and your calendar:
You’ll need to put money down to reserve a home, and you’ll be asked to set an appointment (about 2 hours) to complete paperwork.
